An automated list of links to pages that I have been reading over the course of the day. These will included news reports on the markets I am following at the time and also any other articles or sites that I think are of interest. Typically, the links will consist of the items I read after the main commodity markets closed the previous day up until shortly after they open on the day in question.
An End of Day (EOD) Report is a post detailing the movements of the markets during the day, any positions that I took and the reasons behind my decision. It's the bread and butter of the blog and usually written late in the day.
Just for Fun posts are exactly what they say on the tin. They are written just for the hell of it and can be completely off the topic of trading, though not necessarily so.
If there's any bit of news to be reported this is where it'll be at. More than likely, unless some scoop falls into my lap, they'll just be about this site.
Talking from me to you, a one to one. These are meant to be less formulaic and more personal then an EOD report or a Stepping Stone. I expect that sometimes they will have something to do with the topic of trading, but I plan to use this category as something apart, a catch all bucket for anything that I feel is not quite an on-topic post.
Stepping stones are about any thoughts I have had or lessons I have learned on the subject of trading in the markets. Any interesting articles I have read and ideas that I think are worthwhile will be put down here. In short they are the stepping stones upon which I make my leaps in this journey of becoming a trader. In style they should be more thought out and more like a full article than any other of the categories of posts.
Not too sure how regular these kinds of posts will be. Ideally these should be few and far between, the idea being that boring trading is good trading. Still, I expect that there will be a few of them. I think they are the most fun for me to write and thus perhaps the most fun for you to read. Expect stories about the many bad things that I did and the occasional good decision that I made in my trading. Expect high drama!
WRAP UP, a Weekend Review Analysing Performance to Update Plan. In other words, it summarises the previous week's action and looks forward to the week ahead. As my trading plan primarily uses weekly charts to decide whether to enter or exit a position, analysis of the week's charts is included in the review.
